Moleskine Art

25 April 2013

Recently I’ve bought a black sketch notebook. I needed one. For storeing my inspiration, sometimes emotions, drawings, sketches, sometimes some thoughts. I’ve never heard before about Moleskine. In fact I saw these notebooks before but never thought what it is. Who is familiar with Moleskine you don’t need to read further. I guess there are many of us who never heard of it.

Short history: Moleskine is the legendary notebook used by artist and thinkers over the past two centuries: among them Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Ernest Hemingway and Bruce Chatwin (the famous English novelist and travel writer). It was he who called it “moleskine”.  In the mid-1980′s, these notebooks became increasingly scarce and then entirely disappeared because of family owned company went out of business. Only in 1997, a small Milanese publisher brought the legendary notebook back to life, selected this name. Since then the Moleskine notebook stores ideas, feelings, stories, sketches, notes.

Every notebook is hand made and has been carefully checked for quality.

And here it is: a simple black rectangle with rounded corners, an elastic page holder and an internal expanded pocket..and it is mine!!!

Here are few my drawings made on Moleskine :)

Benjamin♥

11 April 2013

It’s not so offen happens that I like to keep a bear for myself.  While making myself bears I don’t have any bear for myself. Every time in a while I think I should have one. Of course I have bears in my collection from other artist but I mean my own, made by me, for me.

I love to make from special bear material cotton. Some years ago I even made a big pattern for a big bear to make from cotton for myself. But somehow I didn’t make it…it sill laying in a pattern…

Recently I made a bear and I like him so much. So, I decided to leave him for myself. He sits sometimes next to my bed or on my working table. He is very good for hugs ♥,  believe me ;)  He has helped me on Easter  - he was an Easter Bear.

Here I present him :  BENJAMIN - 25 cm tall, very cheerful fellow, likes to accompany me, sometimes gives good ideas. We are big friends ♥ :)

A bear for Kids

26 March 2013

Finally! I decided to make a bear – toy again. Bears remember us our safe, cozy childhood. Maybe because of that we love them and hug them while we are adults:) (who said we are???) :D

Here I present a Bear made  especially for kids: with safety joints, safety eyes, not shaded, not waxed, just very friendly to a kid.  This bear has no nome as usually my bears have because all kids give their beloved toys own names and I decided to leave it for a new small (middle, big) owner :)

Not suitable for kids under 3 years old due to small parts. You immediately get a set to play: a bear, a wooden horse on wooden button wheels, a felt bag with wooden buttons. Enjoy ;)

Zoe

21 March 2013

Zoe is a 20 cm rabbit girl made from mohair, has got 5 joints (double for the head), glass eyes, loosely embroidered nose, shaded with oil paint, stuffed with fiberfill and steel pallets. She is a dreamer and loves to spend days in meadows full of flowers, bugs and other small creatures. Not long time ago Zoe has found a dandelion fluff. She was so excited!!!! It was so soft, so airy, so light… But she is a small rabbit and doesn’t know yet that daldelion’s fluffs fly away…
On the neck Zoe has two colors silk ribbons, felted bag with her wooden toy Goose and, of course, in the arms – dandelion fluff made from styrofoam, rice paper and felt.
